Find at least four mistakes:

"Centers of Excellence!!": .... or:
"What so called Specialists know about ´UV/Vis´ Diode Array Spectrometers,  - only?"

Are you able to identify at least the four major mistakes in this principle diagram of HP 845x spectrometers in Figure 1?
(Drawn and described by a special consultant)
If you need help you may compare it with the principle diagram you know already. [1]
Bad DiodeArray Design
Now as you have succeeded with this quiz, would you agree with me, that this consultant had never removed the cover of only one of this HP 845x spectrometers, and also has never read a manual of such a instrument?
If we assume, that the principle design of Figure 1 would work, then we would lack several excellent features we prefer so much on this instrument.

And the next Question:
What's wrong on the following Design of a PDA Spectrometer?: [2]

Bad Design for a PAD/DAD
If you have found the major mistakes, then you are now surely able to tell me what such a design must result in consequences for the precision of your analytical work.
Don't ask me where I found this nice principal diagrams, you would anyway never believe me !!!
Do you need a hint to solve this problem/quiz?:
If IN REAL, we would have to miss this forgotten parts, we would for sure never have the chance to record/calculate such nice and precise Kinetics like the following:
WS Kinetics

Two additional "nice" Schematic designs I found:
(I'm sure I can find quite easily some more!)
What's wrong? Both, more ("???") or "more less" ("!!!") adequate "Schematic Designs"!
Take always care:
NOT behind every PDA Label is also a PDA [2] working!
(Some times even CCD's[3] like to be someone else!)
And finally:
Even, NOT every PDA means the same (excellent) PDA!
Even not the best

There have (unfortunately) a few disadvantages above the PDA Design, you cannot ignore!
And even bad, some times they disguise themself as PDA's. Customers don't realise, because they are also very fast!
