As it looks for the moment, we are talking about different systems:
- The ARGUS Color, which can handle all
non pharma specific tasks, like MCA, recipe calculation, identification,
sample validation, color matching, System Suitability Tests, IQ, OQ,
PQ, transfer of analysis results to a host (also to your host in production
plant), Quality control, etc. Already the "old" ARGUS System
was and is still in use in the
NOVARTIS pharma and in the
CIBA SC dyestuffs company. The new
ARGUS Color system is starting to replace
the "old" ARGUS system in
CIBA SC.
- The ARGUS Pharma, which will handle all
pharma specific task, CU, manually Dissolution ratio, etc., but it is
not realised yet.
- And finally I hope we can combine both ARGUS together, as many tasks from
ARGUS Color are also needed by the
pharma production, and not only in pharma quality control. Maybe, at
the end it will be called, as simple as
ARGUS again.
